Transaction review is a standard procedure that helps Crypto Bot assess risks related to the movement of crypto assets and protect the service and its users from operations involving funds that may have an illegal origin.
Cryptocurrency transactions may be associated with elevated AML risks, including fraud, hacks, sanctioned addresses, darknet markets, mixers, and other sources that require additional review.
Crypto Bot is a custodial cryptocurrency service, so we are required to take AML risks into account when processing transactions. This helps maintain product security, reduce the risk of the service being used for illegal purposes, and protect users’ funds.
In some cases, a transaction may be temporarily suspended for additional review. If this happens, follow the instructions in the notification or contact support – we will let you know what information may be needed to review the case.
