How to save frequently used or important addresses for quick and easy creation of withdrawals

Updated over a month ago

Address book allows you to save wallet addresses for easier and faster access to them when withdrawing coins from Crypto Bot.

You can add to your address book, for example, your deposit addresses on exchanges, or the addresses of your non-custodial wallets that you often use when making withdrawals, or any other addresses you need.

Then, when creating a withdrawal, you will have the option to select the saved address for a specified cryptocurrency and blockchain network on the go in the withdrawal creation form without having to search and copy the address anywhere else.

You can add an address to the address book after creating a withdrawal to it or at any time through the wallet section.

How to add an address to the address book when creating an withdrawal

1. After confirming that the withdrawal has been created to the required address, select Save address in the notification of successful withdrawal creation.

2. Enter the name for the address.

⚠️ Make sure that the name you set matches the wallet address you are saving. Although using an address from the address book will show both the name and the shortened address, an incorrect name may cause you to send to the wrong address.

If you want to set the name to just the address itself, also make sure that the address matching the address to be saved is added to the name.

3. Click Save to add address.

4. The added address will appear in the address list of the selected blockchain network.

How to add an address to the address book via the wallet menu

1. Open the Crypto Bot app by selecting 📱 Open in App from the main menu @CryptoBot.

You can also open the web version of the wallet, which is available at https://app.send.tg.

To use it, you will need to authorize via your Telegram account.

2. Open the app menu and select ⚙️Settings by tapping the three ⋮ dots on the app tab.

3. Select the Address Book section.

4. Select the blockchain network for which the added address will be relevant.

⚠️Make sure that the selected network matches the network on which the wallet of the added address processes transactions. Withdrawing coins through the wrong network may result in the loss of your funds in some cases.

5. Select Add Address.

6. Enter the address you want to add to the address book for the network selected in the previous step.

⚠️ Make sure you add the correct address. Withdrawals to the wrong address cannot be returned as transactions are irreversible.

7. Enter the name.

8. Click to Save to add address.

The added address will appear in the address list of the selected blockchain network.

How to delete an address or edit an address name

4. Select the blockchain network for which the added address should be deleted or edited.

5. Select the address you want to delete or edit.

After adding to the address book, the address can be used to create a withdrawal.

To do this, in the withdrawal form, click the open book icon 📖 on the right side of the address field, and then select the required address from the list of saved addresses for the blockchain network where the withdrawal is created.

⚠️If this is a saved address for deposits on an exchange or other service and sending deposits to it requires adding a comment to the transaction (memo, tag, comment, note) for processing, be sure to add a comment at this stage by clicking + Add Comment.

If you have already made a withdrawal earlier to this address with such a comment, the used comment will be pre-selected next to the comment field.
